Day 1-2: Nairobi to Masai Mara

  • Accommodation: Enkorok Mara Camp
  • Activities: The adventure begins with a drive from Nairobi to the renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. You will spend two nights at Enkorok Mara Camp, immersing yourself in thrilling game drives to see the Big Five, including lions, elephants, and buffaloes. Witness the spectacular Great Migration (seasonal), where millions of wildebeest and zebras traverse the plains. Optional activities include visiting a Maasai village to learn about the local culture or taking a hot air balloon safari for a bird’s-eye view of the Mara’s dramatic savannah landscapes.

Day 3-4: Masai Mara to Serengeti

  • Accommodation: Kontik Camp
  • Activities: Crossing into Tanzania, you will continue to the legendary Serengeti National Park. Over two nights at Kontik Camp, you will explore the Serengeti, famous for its endless plains and abundant wildlife. Enjoy exciting game drives where you can observe vast herds of wildebeest and zebras, as well as the predators that follow them, such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. The Serengeti’s diverse habitats also offer opportunities to see giraffes, elephants, and numerous bird species.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro

  • Accommodation: Marera Valley Lodge
  • Activities: Next, head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for an overnight stay at Marera Valley Lodge. A highlight of the tour is descending into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you will explore its unique ecosystem and witness a high concentration of wildlife. The crater floor is teeming with animals, including elephants, lions, rhinos, and hippos, providing exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities. The lush landscape and soda lake attract a variety of birds, adding to the area’s biodiversity.

Day 6-7: Ngorongoro to Amboseli

  • Accommodation: Nyati Safari Camp
  • Activities: The final leg of your journey takes you back to Kenya, where you will spend two nights at Nyati Safari Camp in Amboseli National Park. Amboseli is known for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Enjoy game drives that provide close-up encounters with elephants and other wildlife, including zebras, giraffes, and numerous bird species. The park’s varied habitats, from wetlands to dry plains, offer diverse and dramatic scenery perfect for photography. Optional activities include visiting a local Maasai village or taking guided nature walks.
